Bacteriostatic Water Reconstitution Solution 10ml
0.9% benzyl alcohol bacteriostatic water — the required reconstitution solvent for all lyophilized research peptides. 10ml multi-use vial.
Bacteriostatic Preservation for Multi-Use Peptide Reconstitution
Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is sterile water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth following needle puncture by disrupting bacterial cell membrane integrity and membrane-associated enzyme systems — allowing safe multiple draws from a single vial for up to 28 days when stored at 2–8°C. At 0.9% concentration, this bacteriostatic action occurs without causing peptide denaturation or precipitation — critical for preserving Epithalon, GHK-Cu, NAD+, BPC-157, TB-500, IGF-1 LR3, and SNAP-8 integrity across multi-day research protocols. Regular sterile water has no preservative and is considered single-use only after puncture. pH is adjusted to 5.0–7.0, within the stability range of all standard research peptides.
Research Highlights
Required for All Lyophilized Peptides
Every lyophilized research peptide — Epithalon, GHK-Cu, NAD+, BPC-157, TB-500, IGF-1 LR3, SNAP-8 — requires reconstitution with bacteriostatic water before use. Without BAC water, you cannot use any lyophilized peptide. One 10mL vial is typically sufficient for 2–4 peptide reconstitutions depending on target concentration.
28-Day Multi-Draw Sterility
The 0.9% benzyl alcohol preservative inhibits bacterial growth following needle puncture, allowing multiple draws over 28 days when stored refrigerated. Without this preservative, reconstituted peptide vials would be single-use only — impractical for any multi-day research protocol.
Peptide Compatibility
Benzyl alcohol at 0.9% does not cause precipitation or denaturation of any listed research peptides at this concentration. pH 5.0–7.0 is within the physiological stability range for all listed compounds including GHK-Cu copper complex, NAD+ dinucleotide, and peptides from 4 to 9,117 Da.
